The last time I had a period (which has ALWAYS been normal) was April 24. I eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly. I am not on meds of any kind.

The way a home pregnancy test works is that it detects something called Human Chorionic Gonadatropin or HCG in your urine. That is only present in high levels when you are pregnant. Sometimes in early pregnancy it is possible to have inadequate amounts present, and there will not be enough to turn a test positive. Go to your doctor and request a Beta Quantitative Analysis (a blood test). This test is the definitive test for pregnancy. In other words, it will tell if you are pregnant or not and approximately how far along you are.

its proabbly too early for the test to tell... I recommend an ept test... if one fails, try another. if you don't get your period in another week, take another test... continue this for the next three weeks. if you still don't have a period and you've always been regular, and the tests all come back negative.. go see a doctor... it could be a serious condition. much luck

It is not unusual for a period to be 3 wks late. If your period is more than a month late and that is unusual for you then check again. If still not pregnant then you may have a infection or something. See your doctor.

I don't know. I once had a pharmacist tell me with the home pregnancy tests, you can get a false negative but will never get a false positive. Perhaps you need a blood test from your doctor.

sounds like you may be under some extreme stress that will cause your period to not happen or lack of nutrients. but sometimes it takes a blood test to tell if your pregnant but that is not likely. take some vitamins and try to relax.

things like that happen, i havent had my period ever... weird isnt it.. .opps i am a man..nevermind. but anyway, you probably are just having a chemical change, not pregnant. Someone here said wait a week, good idea. Abortions are easier in the short term. :D
