because everyone's rushing with no where to go. i got hit by a car the other day and the guy didn't even get out of his car to see if I was ok. i guess because i didn't get knocked down and could walk away he was just like to hell with her. bastards!!!

Because people are in such a hurry and they're on their cell-phone and eating and putting on make-up and......... all while driving! It's very hard to pay attention to someone wanting to cross the street when you're multi-tasking like this.
