I read this on yahoo yesterday, read the website and everything in me says he's doing this just to make money cause he's a broke out of work loser. It seems remniscent of Pauly Shore faking his death and recording it for a movie. (haven't seen it but saw it in the video store).
What do you guys think? It seems too fishy, since he's also launching a website sponsored by him (ratecomedy.com) and can afford hosting, server fees when apparently broke.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen! He called himself a famous celebrity on the story! ROFL! HAHAHAHA! Only if you're over 18. HAHAHAHA! We've got people still trying to recover from Katrina and Rita, and Dustin Diamond is asking us for money???? You've got to be kidding me!

It's real, otherwise it wouldn't have been in the news. I saw a story on Fox News Channel and read the article on Yahoo where it says he's selling t-shirts with his mug on them for $15.00, $20.00 for an autographed shirt to raise money to avoid foreclosure on his house.

It's funny, I just read that. I don't think it's a hoax, at least I hope not. He could get in a lot a trouble for running a hoax like that, it's a felony. I wish him well... (but not well enough to buy one of those stupid shirts)

he was a guest on howard stern last week or the week before. i think its real. he sounds like an idiot and i can picture him getting himself stuck in a bad contract. he lost his house because of some bad land contract deal. its ridiculous that he's going to the public for help, but i guess it works sometimes.

of course its true, the guy hasnt done any work since he was a kid on a tv show. ive talked to people that have seen his "stand-up" and hes HORRIBLE. he was living off of the money he made as a kid it has to run out sometime.
