Guys like mystery and hate drama.
If you have been having sex, then you are probably not compatible and I would just move on and not let him back into your life.
Hope this helps!!!
Whatever you do, don't take it personally. This stuff happens till you find the right one.

His statement "it's not exciting anymore" is really a reflection of him - not you!
Here's the real questions:
A) What's he doing to contribute to the 'boring" nature of your relationship?
B) What is he doing to add some excitement back into the two of you?
Women take a statement like your boyfriend made and automatically believe that something is wrong with themselves. While honest self-introspection and making positive personal changes is good, it's smart to remember that it takes TWO to make a relationship, and HE needs to contribute as well.
If he truly cares about you, he'll collaborate with you to improve your relationship. If he agrees to work to improve the relationship, be aware to see if what he SAYS matches what he actually DOES.
If his words don't match his actions, or if he flat-out says a relationship shouldn't require "work" he is really saying he wants out. In that case, move on and save yourself for someone who truly respects and values you.

Find someone else who does NOT need constant excitement, better yet try being really single and enjoy you and your family.

Not every aquaintance is a romance. Look elsewhere for love. Perhaps you can still be friends.
