can u tell the sex of a baby...in an ultrasound???

Typically around 16 weeks they can tell, although Ive known some to go earlier and knew while other went a little later and still couldn't get a good view. It really depends on the clarity of the ultrasound, the size of the baby and the positioning. Mine was done at 20 weeks and it was clear as day.

I found out through an ultrasound that I was having a boy when I was 17 weeks along.

It really depends... I've been told that you could have blood/DNA testing as early as 6 to 8 weeks... but on a Ultrasound I think it's as early as 16 weeks.... but most Doctors would take you in for one until 20weeks. *give or take a week or so... because only YOU know just how far along you are! some doctors can be off a week or more*

I am 17 weeks now but my doctor wants to wait until 20 weeks so he can be sure. I'm hoping for a girl but most importantly I just want a healthy baby.

My mother sas during th 5th month!!! That's when she learnt she was having a boy last summer!!
