Blondie is one of the few truly original bands. They have employed so many different styles, (reggae, rap, pop, disco (I know), 60s sounds), and always blended them together in a way that was totally different. They have also mixed thought provoking lyrics with material thats just fun to listen to. No one works the double entendre like they do. Listen to "Communion" (Debbie Harry solo). It is well grounded in Catholic doctrine about the Eucharist or Communion, and applies it to man woman relationship. Amazing from a rock band. Blondie went many years without the respect they deserve. I am thrilled to see them finally being noticed as the truly great and innovative band they are.

Deborah Harry is my idol. I think Blondie is one of the best bands to come from their era of music. They were fresh and funky and you are right, Debbie Harry's voice is soooo sexy and I love the way she looked. Yay for Blondie fans.

Debbie Harry is a goddess! They also keep getting better and better. They deserved to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
