I want to become a special effects make-up artist, applying prostetics, applying blood, ect.. that type of stuff. For movie sets, does anyone have any suggestions of different schools that could teach this?

Most arts and film schools offer programs in set design and makeup, etc... If you already have a significant art background, I would suggest interning with a studio to get hands-on experience.

Univesity of Wisconson at Oskosh is one of the best film schools, try them. Or Columbia in Chicago.
