My cousin just graduated and he will be going away to college in the fall. I already bought condoms and Chaser (so no hangovers!). What else should I get?

shower flipflops, a small white board and pens to hang on wall, easy snack foods (ramen, popcorn, granola bars, etc) ear plugs or head phones, a shower caddy, laundry bag, and a couple of rolls of quarters!

Canned food and a can opener. Some of those disposable gladware containers that are big enough to hold a whole can of Spaghettios or Ravioli or whatever you buy. A gift card to the nearest grocery store to his college. A bottle of body wash. Two towels and four washcloths. That wrinkle release spray that you find in the laundry aisle, then he can leave his clothes on the floor and not have to iron. Those individual packets of kool-aid that you pour into a water bottle, great drink mixer for the poor and eases the hangover in the morning too. Gift cards to fast food places like McDonald's, Taco Bell, Subway, etc.

A roll of quarters for laundry is a great idea. Also I suggest foods that keep for a while and can be made in the microwave, such as chicken soup, hot chocolate, microwaveable mac n' cheese, etc.
A short stack of burnable CDs would also make a great addition, or if your budget can afford it a jump drive (at least 256mb) that he can tote around to the computer labs and save his papers on.
Stamps, envelopes, non-girly stationary are good thoughts too, just in case he doesn't e-mail home to mom and dad asking for money. :)

I would say cleaning supplies but guys aren't too enthusiasic about cleaning so maybe you can make a coupon promising to clean up for him sometime. Other than that, bottled water is nice. Quarters are a definite must unless he lives close to home where he can do laundry for free. The last but most important thing you should give him is a framed picture of you two. It never hurts to give a warning to any girls that might come into his room... ;-)

COLLEGE SURVIVAL KIT. Purchase a small tool box fill it with the basics (hammer, screwdriver, small nails, picture hanging kit, etc). You might also include a small medicine box (aspirin, band aids, decongestants, etc). Be creative when you fill these boxes. They will be deeply appreciated.
