I know you can get protection for the outside and you can't use the one's for the outside because it will cause the glass to break eventually and it isn't really made for tanning beds anyway. So my question is: Is there protection for tanning beds? I don't want the excelerator or anything like that. Just protection from the UV rays.

indeed there is protection you can use just regular every day sun block in a tanning bed that's OK but just don't use indoor tanning lotion outdoor because you will burn. also i suggest not using sun block because then you wont really be getting a tan i would just say if your getting burnt to cut down the time you go in then increase it gradually

I actually recently studied about this.

Ultraviolet radiation depends on the angle and height. The closer it is the higher the intensity and the angle is basically 360 in your situation. It is much worse than tanning outside and can be very detrimental if the product doesn't have filters.

Most have safety precautions and filters.

The best thing to do is use fake tan. I am brown and I don't understand why everyones wants to be my color :P
Heck I turn 3 shades darker brown without even trying.

protection? trojan should work fine and you should reconsider doing that kind of stuff. the bedroom is a safer place and trojan was made to work there. the sun is the best but not too much because a little sun is actually healthy for your skin. yes the glass can break if you do that in there with or without protection cause all the weight put on it. and all the movement, protection or not!

Why are you paying to lay under UV rays if you want protection from UV rays?

If your skin is tanning, that means it is being damaged. You can't have both!

Tanning beds are so harmful to your skin. I laid in one a lot my senior year of highschool so that I could get tan for prom, and I ended up getting skin cancer. I had to have it removed from my face and I got 20 stiches!!! it sucked!
