What are some good classical pieces. I don't have any idea but am supposed to come up with some. It would be a big help.

I guess I am just looking for things like mozart, bach, beethoven, etc. I was just wondering which were good.

What an impossible question to answer, as a piece in and of itself can vary from performer to perfrormer, conducter to conductor...all I can give are my favorites...
Beethoven's seventh symphony (conducted by Lenny Bernstein);
Elgar's cello concerto in Em (with Du Pre on Cello);
Bach's Cello suites 1-6 (performed by Pablo Cassals);
Beethoven's Fifth Symphony (conducted by Carlos Kleiber);
Brahm's Piano concerto #2;
Beethoven's ninth symphony (conducted by Furtwangler);
Any of Beethovens piano sonatas as perfromed by Alfred Brendel;
Mozart's fortieth symphony (conducted by Bernstein);
Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique...
Well, I suppose that's enough to start a pretty decent collection.

If you want pieces there are several that are most known
Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin ( or the united airlines song)
The 5th Symphony by Beethoven
My favorite is 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky
You should probably also include a few pieces from Bach, and Mozart. Good luck, you should try listening to them too you might be surprised that you like it, I was.

What kind of pieces are you looking for? Do you need things just from the classical period? Would you like symphonic works, concertos, opera?
