Before you get into dairy farming, you may want to look at what is actually in cows milk. It is not healthy like the cattle industry wants you to believe.

cows produce about 8 times more milk than what their own calves will drink. Yes, artificial insemination occurs. The reasons they inseminate the cows are many. First of all, Bulls are bigger than cows. a lot of cows get hurt by bulls, and captive bulls can be worse. second, you may not have a preferred bull on property. you need to have good genes, and get rid of diseases like mad cow disease. you can breed that out. also, this way you can monitor when the cow got pregnant and take better care of the calf. This also helps to know when the calf will be weaned by the mother. cow milk is not bad. yes, some corporations abuse their cows, but this new innovative program has been becoming more popular with corporations. maybe youve seen the happy cow commercials about california. cows choose when to be milked, there is a stall they walk into and get milked then walk out of, whenever they want. its great. stop being brainwashed by peta. all cow milk is not horrible.

your soy products have more chemicals in them. and tofu--- YUCK.
