It was saved on disk. I had it transferd and it was sent through as .rtx format. Does this make any difference? My school should still recieve it in the form I had typed up right? It went through email with no problem. Is anyone familiar with .rtx format?

I'm not sure if they will or not but what I'd do it this. I would keep a copy on a disc and put it in my backpack just in case. I would also copty and paste the entire essay into another word document named essay test 1 or something. Then save onto desktop and open up yoiur email account and compose a new email to your teacher. You should see a button that says attachments click on it and then browse your desktop for the essay test 1 click on it and it should attach itself to the email. Then in the body of the email explain to your teacher about the rtx thing and that your trying it this way, but if the attachments haven't worked to let you know because you'll have a copy on a disc with you the next time your in class!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I hope you mean RTF and not RTX. RTF is Rich Text Format that allows many different word processors to read the document and still keep all of its formating.
