McGrady's feat was more impressive in my opinion. He single-handedly brought his team back from a double digit lead to win the game with under a minute left. A real team player vs a stat padder in my opinion.

Statistically 13 points in 35 seconds is better than 81 in a game

Do the math. There are 4 quarters and 12 minutes per quarter. Imagine scoring 13 points every 30 seconds (instead of 35 to make the calculations simpler). What would that equate to?

13 points x 24 30 seconds in a period = 312 points per quarter

312 x 4 quarters = 1248 points for tmac for an entire game

Kobe's on the other hand is 20 points per quarter, 80 total in the whole game.

Who's is better?

DUH. TMAC!

Without Phil jackson as a coach and all good players around Kobe. He would not have any rings by now. Prime Shaq was the big factor that the Lakers won those 3 championships. Without good supporting cast kobe won't be able to go anywhere. Where were the Lakers in 2004-2007? What happened when Shaq left the Lakers and went to Maimi heat? Heat won the 2006 championship that's what happened. He had like Odam and Bynum and he still can't win anything till Gasol came to the Lakers. Why do you think Lebron can't win championship if he was on the lakers? Are you kidding me? He took a crappy Cavs team to the final in 2007 all by himself and he took the Cavs to playoffs 5 years straight. Look at the cavs now without Lebron. Lebron was the main reason why they were in the playoffs. He was one of the offense machine on the Cavs team. Don't put crap like Shaq or big Z. Even before Shaq joined them they went to the finals and hd 66-16 record.

In my opinion 81 is more impressive. You've got to admit 13 points in 35 seconds involves a LITTLE luck. 81 Points in a game proves consistency throughout the game, therefore, is more impressive.

I did see that game when T-Mac brought Houston back to win it. It was one of the most exciting games I ever saw.
