Texas. Longhorns football win the rose bowl. The basketball team went far in the tournament. We have the 3 time champion spurs #1 in the western conference, the dallas mavericks #2 in the west and in the nba finals, the houston rockets who might have had an off-season but tracy mcgrady and yao ming were both hurt. as for pro football the texans and cowboys havent proved much but the cowboys were a couple of field goals away from the playoffs and they now have vanderjact and terrell owens. the texans now have mario williams and hope that they have and improved team.

lets start with college basketball, the best would probably be north carolina, which has duke (always in the title chase)
unc(always in the running also) wake forest (really good as of late)north carolina state(always competitive) not to mention unc-
charlotte(usually in the tourney)

college football would have to be florida(and i am a buckeye fan, u don't realize how painful that is to say) u got the gators, seminoles, and canes nuff said

pro basketball as of late it would be texas(dallas in the finals,
san antonio 3 championships,)

pro football is a harder question but to be honest it goes in spurts
the last few years it would be pennsylvania(steelers and eagles)
both went to superbowl although pittsburgh won)

if your talking all-time then sorry to say it would be california
(san fran - 5 for 5 in superbowls, oakland 5 appearences,
los angelas rams 1 app.) no other state combined comes close
in app's or wins....

Well, I guess you dont need an answer cause you already answered this one yourself, hehe. I would say Florida or California for football. Then basketball I am not too sure but I would guess probably the same 2 states.
