The Greek Alphabet has 24 letters:
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta, Iota, Kappa, Lambda, Mu, Nu, Xi, Omicron, Pi, Rho, Sigma, Tau, Upsilon, Phi, Chi, Psi, Omega
The opening sound of each letter is the sound the letter makes in a word. For example, the letter "Theta" makes the "th" sound (like in "thing") when it's used in a word. To see what these letters look like, use this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet

The alphabet the Greeks used! Use Yahoo.com to see all the different letters. Nowadays here in the US some of them are used in math and science, and many of the college faternities and sororities are identified by thier Greek names with Greek letters. (Alpha Kappa Beta, for instance.)
