can you just drive around going 35mph? ha ha... might be a silly ? but a few friends and i were thinking about it?

You can drive gas free under 35 mph for some hybrids if you have enough battery power stored up. There are ways to plug in hybrids with slight modifications so that you can make short errands using only electricity. Visit popsci.com for details.

First of all, all the hybrids are different and create their power differently. With that being said none of them that I have ever heard do what you are stating. It would make the car so expensive. Not only that but you have to ask yourself why wouldn't everyone have a hybrid if it switched gas after 35 mph.

i believe it will use its cell power to get you moving again. I'm not you'll be able to speed around without any gas but you'll still be able to drive so long as there's juice in the battery.
