Not a lot of singers last a long time. Like the Spice Girls, NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys and even Destiny's CHild has broken up. Usher isn't out of style, he just isn't that popular anymore to the fans, and there are new singers too. Like Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and soooo much more singer-dancers like Usher.
But, all the answers you receive are probably just guesses, like mine, but this is what I think Usher got out of style.

Not sure, but they say he's working on an album that's due to come out either the end of this year, or earlier next year. Just like everyone else said, Ne-Yo and Chris Brown are ruling the charts right now.

yah i agree he's not really out of style...it is just other artists are shining and taking over right now and he's not really coming with any new hit songs right now, maybe he's just taking a rest or letting new artist getting a chance to shine and get their fame; he's probably not being greedy, ya know? And Chris Brown is definately getting a lot of FAME right now! gah-lee Chris Brown is sooo FINE!!!! lol...i just wanted to add that comment. lol! :-)

When singers finish advertising their CD, win awards, and tour then they go back to the studio and make another. That's all. I read an article about him in Mississippi helping with the Katrina victims and he was cutting down trees...

He is not out of style,. He is just out of business since he made that whack movie and he lost bad business. it wil take alot to get himself back to forefront. But he is still good singer and dancer so I'm not knockin' that.
