It could be that we each live for absolutely no reason. It is then our individual responsibility to find a purpose, lest we will live as drones for someone else who does have a purpose.

First of all, you sound insane. With that said, I live for the smile of my daughter, for a perfect mix of Malibu and Pineapple, a screaming orgasm, a kick azz band, debate among friends, the smell after a summer thunderstorm.
You see, I think it is YOU who is fake and artificial as you are unable to see life's beauty. So why are YOU alive!
And not all white people "have it easy". That's just delusional. And yes, I like all the things you mentioned but you see the problem? Of course not. The problem is that YOU are so hellbent on asking the unaskable question that you let your life pass you by. You're not living if you're wrapped up in rhetorical questions.
And who are you to judge if someone chooses to live an "average" life? Who said your life was so spectacular? You are in no position to question the doings of others. What have YOU done lately. Where is YOUR contribution to this great human race? What have YOU accomplished that is overly fantastic? I didn't think so.
You see, you sound like a hypocrite. I'm sure you don't live a life other than the one you described above. You're nothing new and different. There are a million people JUST LIKE YOU! So what does that say? It says....Your are just a part of the herd like everyone else. The sooner you figure that out the sooner you can dissolve your FALSE SENSE OF GRANDEUR.

you're making distinctive incorrect assumptions right here. American mothers and fathers of all races help to pay for school preparation in the adventure that they could have sufficient money it. Many non-Asian individuals also stay interior a similar domicile w/ their grown little ones until eventually those little ones may have sufficient money to proceed to exist their personal. that's usually maximum proper for the newly divorced. This has been taking position a transforming into style of for decades. also on the upward thrust is at domicile elder care. All of those are bothered by the economic gadget, interest availability and the minimum salary. What community have you ever been residing in? The elderly are not any more the duty of gov't. maximum homeless shelters are run by ability of inner most charities or non-earnings orgs. some homeless human beings have households yet they prefer to be homeless with the aid of psychological ailment or different subject matters like abuse. Many seniors don't have households to fall again on. no longer actually everyone has little ones. a lot also relies upon on the courting between the mothers and fathers and little ones.

Nope, but i love these people who worry about everyone elses existence, and then complain about other people doing the same thing. Why do you care if other people care. Ever heard of hipocracy? Its a sucky deal and everyone does it at one time or another. I think people should mind their own business and quit worrying about everyone else. If people wanted more out of life than beer and tv then they would go for it. But for some people, drinking beer and watching tv is the way they want it. If you spend your whole life trying to figure out "why humans are alive" then you won't be living. Have fun, be a dork, be a poor man, be a rich man, do what you want to do, and don't say poor people don't have a chance either. if they want to change bad enough there are ways, easy it isn't but possible it is! Be sure you single out White Americans also, you know, because there are no rich french, chinese, canadians, black women, or rich Japanese, koreans, mexicans, gays, lesbians, all white rich men and their trophy wives. good call loser!

I do think that most people in America are living a life that appears to have been written by the Matrix itself. It isn't difficult to draw parallels between Humanity and the Droid Army from those 3 Star Wars movies, and I think that sucks. The fact of the matter is that there are so many people that want us to be as weak, subservient, distracted, unfocused, and drunk as they can possibly get us without making the whole world come screeching to a halt. People these days only seem competent enough to keep the Grand Cash Collecting Device from breaking down (Lord knows they aren't capable of training competent, interesting children). Everyone from Corporate America to the British Royal Family to THE Church to your Mom and Dad do everything they can to keep you in their pocket, and as soon as you think you're almost out, they sabotage your scooter and then you spend the rest of your life just trying to get on your feet. It's a tragedy.
I'd suggest just living your life as best you can, raising your kids with this information in mind, and doing whatever you can to help those close to you 'jack out of the Matrix'. If the opportunity ever arises, contribute to organized efforts to alleviate the stress of modern life, but don't expect dramatic results from lone endeavors (after all, one person can only do so much...). Anything more might simply be a waist of time.

It's easy in America to be seduced by triviality because our trivia delivery system is the best in the world.
But that's not to say that everyone is. You never bumped into me when you were in Chicago. I don't give a crap about Brad and Angelina. I read and write and think; not about celebrities, but about things like the origin of creative thoughts, or the evolutionary imperatives behind gender differences. We're out here, you just didn't look hard enough - though I realize it's hard to see past the constant blare of the banal.

As I understand it, God put us here to worship him. Then he will grant us everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven. So I guess, this is a test. Kind of weeding out all the nonbelievers, evil doers, and etc... When Adam and Eve was created, they lived in the Garden of Eden, which was like Heaven. They didn't have to worry about anything, but Eve ate or did whatever she wasn't suppose to do, and they got kicked out, which made us all punished. Made women have to give painful child birth, and etc... Maybe that is why men have it easier than women. Then God sent Jesus down to take our sins, so we could join him in Heaven.
I do know where you are coming from. It seems like all I do is get up, go to work, come home, take a shower, go to bed and then back to work again. What kind of life is that? My job barely pays the bills. No time or money to do things fun. I know that when people have kids, they live for them.
I am white, I do not have it easy. My mom (white) worked in the cotton fields like everyone else. My family was very poor. I even had to work in a pepper field with prisoners when I was a child. You think picking cotton is bad, try picking peppers and then forget and stick your finger in your eye or mouth. Your fingers eventually started burning.
My life was horrible growing up. But I found a great man to spend the rest of my life with. He makes me very happy and I guess I live for him and God. I guess you just have to find simple things in your life that makes you happy. If not, you want have the will to live.

I'd have to say most people tend to be in denial, no one is ever satisfied if they are living like this because there is a reason why we are here, and why we exist, this life is only a steeping stone, and a way for evil to be taken out of our hearts, we are guided in this life with the Bible, that we may follow God. We have eternal life if we choose to take that path.
When people live in denial, and do these everyday things without knowing why we exist and have no spirituality they are on a broad road that leads the wrong way. The only way is to take the narrow road so that you may have full understanding of why we are here.

I agree that as Americans we really have messed up priorities in our lives. Reality TV, celebrity news, and the like are ridiculous; don't we have enough things in our own lives that we should pay mind to? I have to disagree that every white person has it easy; my brother, sister, and myself were bounced around foster care and we all busted our asses to scratch out to success. Everybody has their struggles, it's just the perspective they have on their struggles.
I personally have made huge efforts to de-materialze and uncomplicate my life and my priorities; I've sold my vehicle, television, and other odds and ends. I wish more people could do this, but in this self-indulgent, gratification whoring society simplification is definitely the exception rather than the rule.

i've already figured it out, now i just want happiness. still much to learn about getting my happiness but i think i've got a loose grasp on why humans are alive. and me thinks you are looking in the wrong place. now i just want to forget. pleasure is somewhat artificial but its either that or just sit around and eat cause there ain't no higher meaning for us. but whatever makes you happy.
