i want to know which is the best time for take HPT? i know after missed periods. is it o.k if we take before period due date.

Most tests now will work as soon as 4-5 days before your missed period. There is a chance that you will get a false negative if you test too early, but you will never get a false positive.
If you really want to know, go get a blood test at the hospital. Or call your doctor to order one. A blood test will show even small amounts of HcG in your blood and will tell you sooner, in most cases, then a urine test will. Good luck!!

It is best to wait until after you miss your period, because it will be more accurate. Some tests can be done before- if you research them you can find out the accuracy. I know it's so hard to wait! When you want to know- you want to know! As I am sure you are aware, the hormone HCG is produced only when you are pregnant, and more hormone is produced when you are further along. If you test before a missed period you may still test neg even if you are pregnant- and knowing this possibility, you will feel compelled to do another test after your period! Just wait!! The best time to take a HPT is after you have missed your cycle, though some are sensitive enough to pick up smaller amounts of HCG. It really depends on the sensitivity level of the test and the amount of the HCG present in your urine. If you're testing early, the best time to test would be early in the morning as that is when HCG concentration levels are the highest.

I took the store brand HPT three days after my cycle was due, and I had one test come up positive, and the other was inconclusive. I waited a week, and re-tested with 2 more tests, and they both came up positive. It is probably best to take your test after you miss your cycle. I know it is very rare to get a false positive, but you can test too early and end up with a false negative. Good luck to you!

Some of the tests are designed to be used before you even miss your period. You have to research the different types. What's the rush? If you are, you'll know soon enough! Good luck!

A lot of the pregnancy tests out there now claim to be accurate 4 days before your period is supposed to even start. Go with a name-brand, though. Not just the store brand. I know they're supposed to be just as good but they aren't always.

They sell pregnancy test that can detect prgnancy up to 5 days b/f your missed period. EPT i think is the brand and it does work, I found out I was pregnant 5 days b/f my missed period with the test

yeah you can. but if its negative dont mean ur not pregnant cause some womens bodys dont produce enough of the hormon that the test looks for. i had to wait over a month to take one of the tests cause i was not produceing enough hormon..

just to be safe wait until you missed or up too a week after you miss, if you do it early and it comes out negitive you'll want to buy another one later

well it all depends on the brand of hpt's but me personally i would wait.
