Is it possible to open the folder and retrieve the contents?

the file is corrupted either because there was an error while it was being downloaded or it wasn't completely downloaded. All you can do is to re-download the file again

If it's corrupt then you can't open it. A couple of reasons for that could be that the file was bogus, or the Internet disconnected while the file was still downloading. First check if it's the latter by downloading the file again, and if you get the same message then try downloading it from another site.

Nope. You need to download again if that's how you obtained the zip file originally. I have had the same problem too.
If you know the size in kb or Mb of the original (good) file then check it against the currupt one.
What was the file anyway - I am on Yahoo messenger now if you need help.
