Personally, I think Yahoo search engine is waaay better. I am able to find more things on Yahoo search engine. Why is Google search engine so popular? Almost everybody I asked used Yahoo search engine more. How come people used the phraise "Google it" but not "yahoo it"? I tried to understand why people like Google so much but I think it's over rated. A lot more complicated to even set up your account for Gmail.

Have you ever done any real research on the Internet? Yahoo throws in about twice as many ads as Google. Yahoo also sorts by the most hits, whereas Google has some way of tying searches to what was actually clicked to find a better level of relevance than Yahoo. I heard that Yahoo is going to try to mimic the Google technology though. Yahoo should be good then.

I personally use both. If I can't find what I'm looking for at Google, I will go to Yahoo. I probably use Google more, and I can't really explain why. However, haven't you heard of "Do you Yahoo?".
As for Gmail, I use Yahoo. I've never even tried to set up a gmail account as I already have 2 yahoo accounts and an MSN account.

I like google more...I think that the picture search is a lot better...but I like Yahoo Mail a LOT more then Gmail...they are basically the same thing...google is just a lot more popular

if I "really" want to find out about a topic I type wikipedia along with my search. I know wiki is not an "official" reference, but it does do a good job.
As far as Yahoo v Google, I've actually gotten more results using Google than I have with Yahoo.

Hey I agree with you Yahoo is way better but sometimes yahoo doesn't have what I'm looking for and then I use google. For obscure searches google is pretty good

I use both for searching, but I use yahoo for mail. Google is too confusing with gmail.

i prefer yahoo as well so i just say search it instead of google it. everybody thinks google is so cool but they really arn't anything special. it's just alot of pr. they are going to get a big head and end up like microsoft.

Sometimes Google is too good...I don't want to scan 2,483 results, and most of them are the same! I think internet searching is overrated as a whole anyways.
