I felt the movie was extremely slow paced and found the book to be even slower. However, the book is the better of the two.

While I liked the movie, The DaVinci Code, I liked the book far more. There is much more detail in the book and the movie made some minor changes (though they did not affect the main story). Usually, the book is always better!

Personally I didn't like the movie at all they changed some critical parts in the book. Book to movie adaptations are rarely good.

The film was a reasonable way of passing a couple of hours, nothing special. The book, however, is a badly written piece of junk.

I liked it alot, but you have to remember it is a work of fiction. Ian Mc Kellan steals every scene that he is in, he did a really good job. Enjoy it.

It was an entertaining movie that doesn't deserve the brutal criticism it received.
