Superhero powers?

If you could be a superhero, what special powers would you like to have and why?

I'd have love abilities. I'd make people fall in love. That would be the best power ever. I could help fighting married couples who just need to communicate more by touching their hearts and letting them realize that they are meant for each other. It would be like being Cupid, only a girl. I wouldn't make just anybody fall in love though! I'd have a special sense of true love that would tell me who's right for each other. I'd touch the girl's heart and forehead when she sleeps and it would tell her the name of her soulmate and I'd make them destined for each other. It would be so romantic!

On an ordinary level, I'd just like to be able to fly. :) Even if it is just short distances because I *am* out of shape in real life, it would still rock to not have to wait to cross the street, and to take the straight-line short cut to go places.

On a less ordinary level...super-speed is the way to go. For starters, the science of it seems the most plausible to me (most doable anyway) and if you know how to train and work out at super-speed, the other physical abilities come along to some degree anyway...

--super strength? Just lift weights or do calisthenics at 30-60 times faster than the normal human rate...

--endurance and resilience...cardio at speed, with a bit of *cautious* and prudent toughness training (don't want friction burns from trying to build callouses you know). Plus, a faster metabolism than normal *should* heal minor injuries fairly quickly, provided heavy bleeding isn't involved.

--flight? Learn to run and jump until you hit near-orbital velocities. The earth is round folks, so if you have enough straight-line momentum...well, satellites are in orbit for a reason, they keep falling towards earth and *miss* every time. *lol* :))

On the least ordinary level? Power. Ring. Think Green Lantern, not Bilbo or Frodo...as in, if I have the willpower, the endurance and can keep my composure, I can do *whatever the hell I want*. At least as long as the thing stays charged.

I would like to have Mistique's powers from X-men. To have the power to disguise myself as anyone would rock. It also wouldn't make me stick out like a sore thumb like if I could fly.

I'd be wolverine from x-men. that's because he started out as a normal person and actually knows what it's like to be vulnerable. plus his power of self healing is awesome

I would want to be able to turn into anything! I'd love to turn into a pegasus and fly over roof tops bringing wonder to the people below!

I would like to becaome invisible, because then I could listen to others conversations.
I would like to become any animal I wanted to, because then I could get to places faster by flying or something.
And I would like to be able to change my apperence, not my face and body, but my clothes and accesories and hair, because thenI wouldn't have to spend all my time changing.
