What??? Im thirteen and I am NOT annoying!!! (ok sometimez i am) but besides, why do you look at it as plural thirteen year oldS? this looks to me like a matter of opinion, and a strange one at that. Opinions may be expressed but why be so judgemental? HOW many thirteen year olds do you actually know?
What is the point of running down ALL thirteen year olds in the world?

Because thirteen year olds are idiots. Such is the life of a parent, you'll be hated if you do whats right for them (give them boundries) and walked all over if you dont. Thirteen year olds are just trouble all around, I dont know of any parent who had an easy time of dealing with one.

I don't know but you were an annoying 13 year old once to. So you shouldn't be putting other people down because it is obvious that you are just insecure, and every body can tell. Get it got it good!

because they think that they have experienced so much and that they know everything they need to know. their hormones are going crazy and they are conflicted on a lot of their emotions and feelings and their changing bodies. they are trying to find their way in the world and figure out where they're going but they don't realize how long the road still is out ahead of them.

Because they are trying to be adults and people are still thinking of them as children. They really want to go out and have fun but aren't really old enough to. They are too old to play with toys and too young to go party. They are bored.

They are going through a buttload of stuff like changes with their hormones, toxic friends, bf/gf troubles, nagging parents, self-consciousness, lots of schoolwork, people underestimating their intelligence and their power, et cetra. No wonder they are so whiny! :)
