Nobody can be sure about that. It all depends on whoever they get to face and what players are in the field. Their 2 previous exhibitions may have been weak this year, but they scored and they won. In soccer, that's all that matters, goals, and therefore Brazil has currently as many chances as any other team.

Funny how everybody switches opinion with the wind of recent results. Brazil always start slowly -- don't be too hasty in writing them off. Even playing poorly, they are still winning and allowing no goals. Can you imagine if they find form in the coming games?
BTW, "paris", your knowledge of geo-economics is almost as bad as "the fly"'s English: The U.S. is a net importer of oil, not an exporter.

yea i most definetly agree. i think Brazil can't live up to the standards that are set for them. The winner of this world cup will most likely will be Germany or another european power house (England or Italy or Spain)

Just because they are playing poorly, you can't count them out. The teams that won in 1994 and 2002, were horrible. On the other hand, in 1982 and 1990, with a very good team, they didnt win'.

I think it's still open to any team that qualifies for the round of 16. Remember, the semi final and final matches are still far away.

I hope they don't win. They're switching to hybrid engines meaning they'll import less oil from USA, thus dipping the price of our precious, precious, oil. Besides, I'm sick of them winning all the time.

I do agree. They might have made it to the knockout round, but they played poorly and i dont think it's their time to shine.
