Stretch marks are permanent. Nothing that you do during pregnancy (creams, Palmer's cocoa butter, oils) will prevent you from having them. Some bodybuilders get them. Normal people get them. The only way that i've heard that is effective in REMOVING stretch marks is with laser resurfacing or dermabrasion. But even with these, there are no guarantees. Lots of $$ though but if money isn't an issue, go for it.

They are permanent but they will fade with time. Try Mederma or Scar Zone creams. They are expensive and you have to use it 3-4 times a day, but the next step will be to see a plastic surgeon to talk about treatments. I know from experience, that there is a laser treatment that they have to help disperse the fat cells from around the marks to even it out so they aren't so obvious.

Stretch marks are difficult to get rid of. The best thing is to prevent them. During pregnancy, women used to rub cocoa butter on their stomachs to prevent stretch marks. Now there are prescription drugs that are available to prevent and treat stretch marks. Ask your doctor about them and see if they are appropriate for you to use. Meantime, get some cocoa butter and keep the stretch marks well lubricated. Be sure to rub it in well to prevent oil staining of your clothes.

cocoa butter works if you use it everyday, then you will see better results over time. There are also scar kits that are for scars and creams that can be used.
