She's awesome, shes just like me, we have a lot in common, we like each other, she has no emotional attatchment to my boyfriend and has never wanted him back. She is the one who broke it off. Can we be friends?

well- he has neglected to tell me about the abortion. She told me. She is already a friend on my myspace so that should give him a clue, but he still hasn't come clean. He swears theres nothing that he isn't telling me, but a I think an abortion is a big deal.

PS dont judge him by the cheating- he has grown up a LOT. People can change if they want to make the change.

Absolutely! There really aren't any rules about this sort of thing, because all people are different. If there are no issues between any of you, why make any? You want to make sure that it doesn't make your boyfriend uncomfortable, but if your friendship with his ex is kosher with him, it sounds like you're all caring responsible people - exactly the kind of people who deserve each other as friends!

your only asking for trouble dear. looks to me like you don't really want to be with him either, because your trying to find ways that will become a problem, i don't think you trust him if you can do this to him and not talk about it. try it this way' what if the shoe was on the other foot? would you like him to have friends that you once had a relationship with? if you two truely wanted to be together' then let go of the past, move on, and stop playing games.

sure you can be friends with her as long as you don't get jealous of the time they spent together and the things they did, i try to be friends with all my ex's new girl friends.
