juz think that there r so many planets and only earth has life . we hear it is juz because that the oxygen is here , atmosphere is here , water is here , we think that way bcoz we need these conditions , may be there r organisms which survive on nitrogen, carbon di oxide , dont need oxygen , and other planets have these conditions , other organisms need some other liquid , like silicon ad not water , wy dont we understand this !! why do we keep looking for water and oxygen on other planets and why dont we go ahead with a new approach . its a pity that we have such an idiot imagination of the creatures that may exist on other planets like jadoo in koi mil gaya or in the movie ET . may be they are even more beautiful !! it can also be the fact that as we have found a water lake on mars which seems to exist before , may be life has already existed on it and as resource like oxygen and water depleted from the planet , life was transferred to earth and vice versa

you are correct as they have discovered life at the bottom of our oceans in complete darkness, icy temperatures, crushing pressures and surving off of sulphur from volcanic vents.
as a result they look for life in other parts of our world that seem to be dead, where no life or vegitation appears to grow. they do this (this is where you are wrong) in preporation to know what to look for on Mars or other planets.

I dont think that intelegent life exists, but life does exist. I know that. Imagine this: A gas Giant. Nothing but clouds oif gas. Inside jupitur. How can life survive? They can float! Blimp-like creatures could fly and be hunted by gliding creatures called "sword tails", or perhaps an organism that has no mouth or nose for breathing, since it abosbs the ice on europa, and gets food by photosynthesis, on the moon of Europa. Or EVEN IN VENUS!!! There could be fat creacures that are resistant to the intence heat, and can last heavy pressure. They eat rocks and metal, and since the surface is boiling hot, they keep standing on one foot, alternating every once in a while. Great thinking, no?
Intelegent life doesn't exist as far as I know, but other forms of life, like the ones I listed, or single celled organisms, could.

Patrick Mondal, use common sence. Read my post. It says how life COULD addapt to another planet. Like floating beings on Jupitur, or perhaps bacteria or other organisms.
Earth is definately not the only planet that can support life. And no, life will definatly not look like aliens with big heads and bulging eyes.

It ludacris to think that Earth is the only planet in the universe that can sustain life. The odds are almost zero that this is the case. The reason that scientists look for oxygen and water on other planets is to find out if that planet would be able to sustain life SIMILAR to ours. It doesn't rule out that life is on that planet.

No, I don't agree with you!!!
Even if oxy and water is not needed, the condiations on other planets are not suitable for life.
Earth is the only planet, as yet, that can sustain life with its conditions. Still so many are extinct e.g. Mammoth, Dinos, etc.
No animal could survive on another planet

Perhaps it's because people who can't spell aren't accepted in the scientific community. It's a shame. Your theory sounded so much like something I saw on Star Trek: the Next Generation but now I'll have to discredit it.

Ok, and how many hollywood movies are in your head and why is it so hard to believe that we are the only ones.....people faith...or lack there of is very disturbing at times.......the human race is complicated and distinctive so with that being said, again....why does there have to be "others"....just watch ET again and get your fill from there!!!

If you want people to read your ideas, and take them seriously, learn to express those ideas in proper English, including capitalization, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
You may have something interesting to say there, but your method of expression would cause people to discount what you're saying because you are communicating like an 8-year-old.
