i have called the police who show up and the ones not working are put in police cars and driven away only to be back in an hour after i have called to complain this has been going on sinse i moved in and should i report the police cars numbers i can see them from my window and have written 20 or so down and they seem to take turns driving them around the hookers and then letting them go .what can i do

Commission a sting operation. The reason they don't try to take out all the crime at once in an area is because it would cause rioting and subsequently a police state. Remember June 26 1992? You have to get rid of them by other means than arresting them all. Try what we're doing here in Atlanta and blast Barry Manilow on some loud speakers all day. They won't want to be around that. Just don't let anyone know you're doing it or you'll get whacked. No kidding they really are blast that crap in the streets here, and people are leaving. They did the same thing in a mall full of 14 year olds who onliy loitered and never bought anything and they left.

Keep calling the police. Write down the time and date every time you call. Contact local TV and newspapers and make them aware of the situation. Keep calling the police and contacting the local media until something gets done. Once your street gets profiled on the 11 o'clock news, the cops will keep the steet walkers away 24/7.

There are a couple of ways you can do this. You can monitor, video tape etc as previously suggested. Or you can stoop to their level, grab a bunch of friends, go to each ho as if you are a pimp and ask her who her "folks" are. "Folks" means who her pimp is. If the pimp is someone you would rather stay away from then leave those ho's alone. Most pimps are several ho's deep. Meaning that they have several ho's in their stables. When you ask the ho who her "folks" are ask her how many "deep" her "folks" are and then go "sweat" the ho's. This term "sweat" means that you bug them and bug them and bug them. Tell them they can stay there in your neighborhood, but since they make so much noise and cause so much commotion you are going to be taking half from now on. Then be serious about it, walk up to the ho's one by one and say "Break yourself *****" this means you are telling her to give you your cut for making your neighborhood a "track". (A track is the portion of the neighborhood that the ho's use for the purpose of prostitution) Then sweat them even harder, tell her she better be moving cause she isnt going to be making any money sitting on her behind or standing in one place, "sweat" the ho from the time she steps out on the "track" until she leaves. Make it hard as hell for her and all the other ho's, they will leave and find another neighborhood to harass.

This was a problem in my hometown. Someone set up a cat house in a neighborhood near a church. So, a bunch of women started walking around with camcorders to take movies of the men picking the hos up.
They put it on the news and the cat house was gone in about a week! Very effective!

Put together a neighborhood watch with as many of your neighbors as you can get, and make it unpleasant for them to work. Send away the "johns". If they're not making money, they'll move on.
Also, as a neighborhood, gather together and petition your local government - mayor/town supervisior/whatever = to have the police step up patrols and haul in the ones they get.

Try to get one of the local TV stations on it. There was one in Waco, and when the TV station started airing footage, the police got a little more attentive, and finally busted the hooker enough they moved on.

Videotape them- let them know they're being taped. Then, if that doesn't scare them off- call the local news and tell them what you have on tape. That will put pressure on the cops too.
