Bottle of soda (if it's on sale) with a cup of ice and a nice straw. Something about the ice and the straw that makes it taste just right.
If no sales on bottles, then fountain will have to do. I trust that all the delicious ingredients and chemicals in the fountain drink are strong enough to kill the germs that may reside in the machine.

Even though the fountain drink is a better deal I get a bottle with a cap because I don't want anything spilling in my ride.

You'll get the best deal with the fountain drink. For instance, at somewhere like 7-11 you can get a huge Super Big Gulp for around $1. Question is, can you drink all of it?! Or better yet, should you!?

I buy cans whenever possible..
I think soda tastes much better from a can..
But if I cant get it in a can, I go for the bottles. For some strange reason I have never trusted the soda fountains, something always makes me think they are unsanitary..

I'd have to go with a bottle. yea it costs a bit more but the fountain drinks are cheaper for a reason. where I live they taste a little watered down...and I can't dig that so I stick to the trusty bottle.

I always get a cup of ice then buy a bottle of Dr.Pepper and add it to my cup with a lid and straw.I do not like the taste of the fountain drinks and a can can't be reclosed like a bottle.
