I never heard of a politican not taking office because they failed their pre-employment drug screening. It might have caught Marion Barry ahead of time, and he was doing a lot worse than some bud in college to relax after exams.

If there is no screening in place, I say we lobby for random testing of our elected officials!!

Apparently not, because some of these guys HAVE to be on dope to be making the bone-head calls they're making, whether it's alcohol, prescription drugs, illegal drugs, or money, there's some definite LUI's out there(legislating under the influence)! LOL

Are you kidding, there would be nobody left to run for office. I think it is a good idea and they should start in the white house first to set an example.

No, but they should be, to a man (or woman)! I mean, you are drug tested if you apply for a job in Home Depot ... but if you want to lead the world's greatest nation ... nobody seems to care if you're on coke or not! Strange, isn't it?

Can you get past the Secret Service agents with needle?
They have sworn to give their lives to protect him. I hope you can not since that seems like a great way to kill a president to me. Bacteria or even air bubbles.

Some politicians have taken drug tests as a publicity stunt, but there is no requirement they do so.

Same with judges.

definite, i imagine that all public relations individuals ppl could B difficulty to random drug screenings b/c this can save them on the up & up. this can B honest 2 the regularly occurring public b/c they should understand the position all their tax $$$ is amazingly going if some thing is going amiss.

I would like to answer this question by asking , "How do we know their drug of choice, alcohol, especially for lunch, is consumed by them and how many are drunk when passing laws ?
