Crouch without Beckham & Gerrard will not get a place in any team. He is too clumsy gives too many fouls, has no speed, & needs to dribble. Very good at set pieces as he rises above the opposition to head. He is a pivot

Peter Crouch being six foot 7 does not look like the normal footballer but he has good technical abilty. Sometimes other players use the long ball too much and make England one-dimensional that is the only negative effect Peter Crouch has.

I honestly believe that if anything progressive happens when Crouch touches the ball it is a freak accident. I mean, giving the ball to Crouch doesn't have the same effect as giving it to Owen or Rooney. I get nervous whenever he has the ball because I don't know where the f*@# it will end up. Maybe they put him on the field for just that reason: a player like that is awkward to handle.

Crouch did score against T&T last match, so I think he's got some skills.

As odd as it seems for someone so gawky, Crouch is a very technical footballer - the ball seems glued to his feet sometimes

From the first half of england vs t&t he has no football skills, but in second half he redeemed himself! I think he has talent and skill but wants to be like Beckham and show off using his skill.

"A pivot"??? Obviously his height is an advantage that England use as a weapon, but if he wasnt a techically good player generally, he'd never be in the team at all.

he is lanky and looks clumsy when he is running but he is skillful and surprisinly less clumsy with the ball in his feet than when he is actually running wihtout the ball.
he is not bad at all, although not a player that looks good, he is, and he offers england new options up front.

he does not deserve to be in the world cup... he´s odds of success are higher if he just tries to play some 2nd leage basketball... My advice for him: go play basketball in greece or argentina...
