Not a problem, just make sure you put a fresh tampon in right before swimming and check it on a regular basis, you will be just fine. I always noticed my period lightened up a bit and pretty much stopped when I was swimming, I don't know why, maybe the change in pressure from the water? If you are too uncomfortable, maybe check with a friend to borrow a darker suit for the weekend just to make yourself feel better?
I don't think you have a thing to worry about though, just go to have fun!

Well what you can do is when you wear the tampon also wear a sanitary napkin so that way if the tampon leaks the pad can catch it and i think everything should be fine if you also plan to wear dark blue jean shorts but keep tabs on it and i wish you the best of luck and have fun.

Well of course the jean shorts would cover it up...but I'd be worried the shorts would dye my swimsuit. Cuz jeans almost always bleed a little when they get wet...so if you have a real light swimsuit then your swim suit may get dyed blue or whatever color your shorts are. So you may want to consider getting a different color swimsuit or lighter colored shorts...or don't wear jean shorts. and hope that your period doesn't come when you think it will. :)

you should be fine with the tampon if you change it on time. Also the shorts will help if you do leak.

That is a diaster waiting to happen. Find another swim suit or pray that your cycle doesn't start up on time.

yeah the jeans are thick so it will hide it, but if your not in the water try useing a panty liner with your tampon...that way you dont ruin your shorts

if you have a light flow normally, i'd suggest always using the "super" tampons just in case. or just make sure you change your tampon every 2 hours or so.
