So, is it a 'norm' once u are married, or in long (I am talking 5+ years) manogomous relationships that the sex is over?? I mean u get it- but it' s not frequent or all that great like before.. is it the norm.. or does it mean u just 'settled'?

I'm in the exact same situation. And I reckon the spark goes,it means you're 'settled '.And when people say crap like spice things back up etcetc ,I just think f*** that.Everything gets old after a while and that just life.Bottom line is if they're your best friend that what counts.

You still have to put effort into your sex life.
To some extent you can get settled and build trust, which makes the sex great.
But if you start to get into a pattern, you'll get bored-
then it's time to take a vacation, or buy some body paint ,
or a book of erotica, or a new sexy garment...

I guess I'd say it's the norm that a couple's sex lives go downhill
after a few years, but I'm not going to let that happen to ME!
I believe in resparking the fire.

I wouldnt say "norm" but sometimes, sex isnt all that you need in a relationship after so many years, but if you and your partner are comfortable with eachother, try different things together in both of your comfort zone, something new might spark it back to life...just a suggestion

In a relationship over a period of time you reach your comfort zone I think, the time to impress and do anything new and exciting tends to go to one side. Still I believe that each party at some time need to do something to bring that spark back, no one wants to reach marraige graveyard where slowly everything just dies and you're just together for the sake of it.
