Those women who answered this by saying they have great husbands are just fibbing.

No-one, man or woman, is truly absolutely happy with their marriage.

I don't know why they feel such compulsion to pretend.

I married a particularly good woman but deep down I'd love to be free again.

No this is the first time i have been married-- it will be three years next month although i have been with him all in all 6 years. I knew for a long time after we met that i wanted to make an honest man out of him- but i waited and planned and made sure right until the last minute that i was doing the right thing-- there was no question about the person i was marrying- it was more the commitment and promises i was making

I don't know if you can start to feel any regret until you have fallen out of love with the person. I personally don't like to have any regrets in life, it's all a learning process.
I like what Paul R above wrote. For every person that I have been out with, I have still had the urge to run away and be alone and free. I don't know why the feeling is there, it just is, no matter how good the relationship is. It doesn't mean that adultery will occur, only that you are not 100% settled.

No. I married my husband a week before he left to go to Iraq for a year. He's back now and we have our own place. He's from Los Angeles and i'm from South Carolina he made the sacrifice of moving to SC with me so i'd be happy. I'm now 4 weeks pregnant with our baby. We've been married for 1 year and 5 months.
