About a month and a half ago, I took an EPT test and it said that I was pregnant. I've been having all the pregnancy symptoms. I have yet been to the doctor but I plan on going. I was on birth control and stopped once I found out I was pregnant. A couple of days ago, I started to have a thick brown discharge and this morning it turned into blood. I have abdominal pain but its not strong. It feels like a menstrual pain. Could I be having a miscarriage?

It could be a miscarriage.

It could also just be part of your pregnancy. Some people still have periods throughout their pregnancy.

If you are concerned about it, you should present yourself to the ER of your local hospital or make an emergency appointment wit your physician so he or she can examine you.

You could be having a miscarriage or you could just be having some bleeding for reasons unknown to you or I. Either way, you should get to a healthcare professional as soon as possible. If you dont have a doctors office to call then get to an emergency. You may be able to prevent a miscarriage by going on bedrest if its caught early enough.

Good question. You MUST go to an OB/GYN today. I experienced the same thing at the same time with my first pregnancy, and I was so very scared. The baby and I were fine, but blood during pregnancy is SERIOUS. Don't wait for any more answers - you can check them later. Go to a doctor immediately.

GET TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!!! To me and I am not a doctor, but it does sound like you are having a miscarriage. Please go see someone soon. If you are having a miscarriage and it is a tubal pregnancy, this could cause your fallopian tube to rupture, causing a lot of pain and the tube will have to be removed.

Good luck and I will pray for you.

GO TO THE DOCTOR OR EMERGENCY ROOM NOW! It may be nothing but there are many possibilities. If you have an eptopic pregnancy it can be life threatening. Reguardless of the possibility of loosing the fetus your own life could be in danger.
