Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" is not only the greatest "mafia film," but is one of the greatest artistic achievments in all of cinema. It is heavily romanticized, multi-generational crime saga which deals with loyalty, honor, corruption, and family values. It contains many amazing performances, a beautiful and extremely memorable musical score, and rich, textured cinematography. The Godfather is a true cinematic triumph, and though I don't consider it the greatest film of all-time, it's virtually flawless in every respect.

Hoodlum starring Lawrence Fishburne.
Hot Springs.Not too well known,though.
My fav is the Godfather series.
