Knowledge would impress people, I'm sure. However being a know it all, doesn't. It also depends on when you use that knowledge. If you start talking about Star wars in the middle of a conversation about the world cup then people will be far from impressed.

Some people Yes, other people No. For me, it matters how the use of knowledge is woven with other areas of knowledge, where it might 'explain' some thing, of it might suggest an area to be investigated. However, there are those who confuse 'information' (acquired) with 'Knowledge.'

The two are very different beasts. The former is open to abuse, like a computer virus sewn into what is believed to be the truth, or knowledge, but which produces an error ....like the drug 'Thalidomide.' The result was horrendous 'deformities' in new born babies.

The rest of my answer is too long for here.
Regards.
Sash.

Yes. However you cant be obnoxious with it. If you are knowledgeable people will see that and respect you for it, as long as you are not trying to show how knowledgeable you are. There is nothing less impressive than a know it all.

not at all times...it's such a turn-off if a person knows everything or a lots of things--because of it, perfectionists comes along the way in which knowing too much tends to being manipulative of a person & it will only ruin a good relationship with your partner....
also, on the other hand, knowledge will impress people depending on the use of it & what kind of knowledge one knows or ahead to...if one's knowledge is very good and is used for a greater cause, then, most people will be impressive, proud, & praise you & will appreciate you for it....

If knowlege doesn't impress one, then there is a problem somewhere. Knowledge is knowledge, you don't need a rocket scientist to know. Knowledge is very important and should be appreciated, whether or not you know it. Everybody has knowledge in one way or another. Knowledge is "power". Knowledge gives insight and knowledge is very relevant. Why wouldn't it impress? YES, it does, but if it doesn't for "you" I suggest it should. YES, knowledge does IMPRESS.

No. It is not knowing something that is impressive, it is the practical use of the knowledge.

to some it does, to others it doesnt. with me, it does. but only when you dont flash it. like dont always talk intelligent to purposely make it known ur intelligent. and like dont correct ppl bc ur sooo intelligent. its impressing to me when id ask someone something and they would know the answer, and beyond that. and they use different words, etc. its impressing, but not impressing when its MADE to be out there all the time so ppl know how knowledgable you r.
