depends on your level and your swing (if it is fast or not), there are raquets more suitable for baseliners, other raquets are better for serve and volley players...
you should go to a tennis pro shop where you can ask for help and you should try the raquet before you buy it. In pro shop stores they ussualy have demo raquets.

Wilson Hammer
I use the Head Intelligence Prestige Mid Size.

If you are a beginner it's good to go for an oversize racket.

Also tenniswarehouse.com has a great selection, and users give feedback on how they like the racket. It is not all 'fluff' some of the rackets are given bad ratings by users. You can also demo rackets which is not much money at all and see how it feels. Another important factor is the grip, the larger your hand the larger the grip. And what I usually do, a little trick, once you figure out what rackets go to your local store and check them out, and also go on ebay and see if you can find them used but in good condition.

It depends on what type of player you are. I use the Head Liquidmetal Radical and it's perfect for my game. There is no 1 best racket. Some are built for better power, others better control or spin.

Many retailers allow you to "demo" rackets so you can see how you play with it, but don't have to buy it. Once you find the racket that's right for you, you can buy it, sometimes at a discount.

I love my Babolat it is not the Pure team that Andy uses. It is the 360 drive I love it it has a good wieght and head size is normal. I have hit with Babolats and love most of them.

I would also recommend Head and prince.

But if your just starting a racket from a sporting goods store is a good place to start.

I have a popular one from Head manufacturer. A few people from my tennis league have the same exact model and we all love it. I love the weight distribution, very light. It is a Head Titanium Ti.S4 Racquet . Check out the review of this racquet online...

We use Babolat AeroPro Drive, it's fantastic.

A friend of ours tried a bunch of different racquets and decided that one was the best one, hands down.
