I am not so sure everybody hates America.
I am from Canada and don't have anything against the U.S. To me, people are people, regardless of where they are from.
I think the people who move to the U.S. are looking for a better life than where they came from.

If you were forced to choose between eating molded cheese or a ham sandwich made by your ex-girlfriend that cheated on you with your best friend and was going to tell you all about it while you ate, you would probably choose the ex-girlfriend. But you wouldn't be happy about it. America is a great country in theory, but that's only to a select number of the populous. Plus if you could get someone you don't like to pay for your college and to help you to start a business for free while you don't pay any taxes for seven years, you would do it and laugh. Don't lie. I know you would.

I too would like to know who 'everyone' is. Do some Americans really believe this? Obviously, they do. You know if you snoop on the conversation of your best friend long enough you are going to hear them say something derogatory about you. This does not mean your friend hates you. It means your friend is human. Most people move the the US for a better life and better opportunities.

I can't believe everyone hates America, I presume that means the United States of America. People come for jobs, to study, to marry, start businesses and if they enter legally they are entitled to all the bounty that other US citizens enjoy.My Mexican and South American friends don't hate America, my Canadian friends don't hate America...please let me know who "everyone" is.

1. I do not hate America.
2. I am in doubt whether it worth for me to move there :-)
OK: to be serious.
- Hungry people dream to reach rich country.
- They are hungry and poor because they are... say... not so clever and/or do not want to work hard;
- They reach America in any way.
- They for the first time in their life eat enough.
- Since they are not-so-clever, they want to set their own rules in America to make Americans be so hungry as they were before entering America.

Who said everyone hates the United States? The news only talk about the people who hate the U.S., not about the millions of people who love it.

America is a bully, but we have some of the best conditions to live in. For instance, Arnold Schwarzenegger would have never been able to do what he has done in other countries.
