is she mean to you or other people? i don't think you should stay friends either way a friend is someone you have respect for and who respects you it doesn't sound like she is a very respectfully person...is she always there for you when u need her...is her friendship worth being known as " the mean girls friend" ask your self those questions...do you enjoy watching her be mean to other people? no one needs friends like that

Popularity is not a reason to remain friends with someone. What happens is eventually she'll be mean to enough people & make enough enemies and you'll be associated with her, and even if YOU'RE not mean, people will think you are, because you're her "friend."
No, you shouldn't be friends with someone just for popularity's sake. Be friends with someone because you share the same views, values, likes, interests, etc. And because you genuinely LIKE each other.

Yeah be her friend still.The only reason she is mean to you is because she is afraid that you will be more popular so she tries to make you feel inscure and stuff. I would use her to get to know alot of people and then make a rumor about her.But make something good up but dont have it start with "I SEEN HER ____" instead say "DID YOU HEAR WHAT SHE WAS CAUGHT DOING. make sure it something embarssing but not over dramtic.tell somone who has a big mouth but not one of her circle friends.

you are probably her only one!
maybe you can help her soften up a little, but is you hang with her too much you may get tagged as being like her. plus if you don't mention it to her then you are just encouraging that behavior by accepting it.
work on her or ditch her...you can make a difference.

I think a frend is sum1 wid whom u can talk personally n to whom u care abt...i think if shes a mean girl u shud'nt stay her frend nemore....u can jst simply say hello or hi but nothing elz

if shes mean to you then shes not your friend but if shes mean to other people then she probably is mean to you and you really dont want to b around that kind of person, do you?

depends, is she mean to you, or the rest of the world. if she is mean to you, than return the favor and be meant to her. And if she says your mean, tell her that your just trying to be like her.
