No problem ( except the mess ), the transmission itself is sealed from the weather and, there's probably a rubber boot between your cars floor and the exterior of the car to keep out the weather so the coffee is probably still inside your car ( just soaked up into the carpet or carpet padding and dried by now, I'm sure ).

Well actually this happen to me, except some one else spilled orange punch. A few days later my shifter started to get stuck when I pushed it up to park. My car gear would be in park, but not all the way so I wasn't able to take my keys out the ignition (they were locked in). I soon took my car back to the dealership and they put in a new shifter gear. I'm not sure how much it's going to cost but mine was fixed under warranty, I didn't tell them somebody spilled juice in it because they probably wouldn't have fixed it.

It may make it sticky but the "shifter" itself is just a cable housing that is sealed. The only problem you may have is if the shift indicator light wiring may have some shorting, not likely though. Center consoles in most modern car are usually held in with a couple of small screws and held in place by a couple of snaps if you want to just clean out the excess.

Woohoo! A fellow ninja! besides, i'd in simple terms make the hot pot if I in undemanding words had those selections. Even for a baby who lives in a dorm and abides through the 'if that is not any longer moldy, you are able to eat it' rule, liking spilled espresso off a table is both weird and wonderful and disgusting. If i can make any restoration i needed, i'd both bypass get an potential drink or in simple terms get a bottle of caffeine pills and screw espresso all jointly.

Not really. No damage from the coffee. If there was sugar in it, then the shifter and the boot around it, and other outward parts, will get sticky - but the coffee will not get inside the transmission.
