I am using kayak.com - they search multiple websites for you. hotwire will be cheaper, but you have no control over the time of departure, itinerary and an airline.
I hope you're not traveling in the summer - the cheapesttotal fare (including taxes )I saw on Kayak for August was about 1160 dollars US on Alitalia.

hotwire.com is by far the best site for cheap tickets. If you are flexible with your departure and arrival dates it is the best place to go. cheaptickets.com is good too. If you are a student or teacher, try studentuniverse.com
