It could be a yeast infection. The most common symptoms are itching and irritation of the vagina and/or vulva, and a whitish or whitish-gray discharge that may have a "yeasty" smell like beer or baking bread. It may resemble cottage cheese.
It can also be bacterial vaginosis (BV) which a lot of woman mistake for as a yeast infection. The most common symptom of BV is an abnormal vaginal discharge with an unpleasant fishy smell. However, nearly half of all women with BV don't notice any symptoms. Most cases of bacterial vaginosis occur in sexually active women between the ages of 15 and 44, especially after contact with a new partner.
I've heard douching can be REALLY bad and that you shouldn't do it. Many people suggest that douching is generally not a good idea, as the vagina is self-cleaning and douching interferes with the natural bacterial culture of the vagina, and it might spread or introduce infections. For example, the U.S. Department of Health strongly discourages douching, warning that it can lead to irritation, bacterial vaginosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease.

It might be the lubrication on the condoms (if you use them...which you should). It is natural to experience a little bit of difference after sex. Just make sure you thoroughly clean yourself afterward. It is important to know that the discharge is vitally important to your body's natural self-cleaning system. Because of this, try using a mild soap made for that area, like Summer's Eve or the cheaper store brands of the same thing. If you think it might help, you could use deodorant panty liners as a quick fix.

It could be many things - first of all go to the doctor to rule out the possiblility of an STD. Then ask her about possible causes of feminie odor. I know diet can affect it, but the most important thing is cleanliness down there! Wash it every time you shower!

The natural balance of bacterias in your vagina can get messed up when you have sex. It can develop into bacteria vaginosis. If you use RePHresh after sex, you can avoid this problem. You can find it near the yeast infection, lubricant section of your drugstore. It's a great product. Some women just get this more than others.
I have to disagree with collegegirl, douching is NOT good for women and can only further upset the natural balance in your vagina. If we were meant to douche, God would have installed a faucet in our cervix!

It just the combination of you both of your alls fluids. IF you don't like the smell take a shower, but it's totally normal. I happen to like the smell of my hubby and my sex, but to each his own. And please don't douche...it isn't necessary, the stuff will come out on it's own by the next day and douching is very bad for you...it will give you all sorts of infections that no one wants. Best wishes

Please make an appointment with your ob-gyn.
This sounds like a bacterial infection.
It might be transmitted by him or aggravated by the sexual intercourse..
This is not a common problem with a persons diet or anything like that..
You both might need an antibiotc, guys can get the bacteria and it is rarely noticed by them and this way can be passed back and forth between each other with ease..
