I'm having a birthday party August 5th in south eastern Michigan. I was wondering if the Farmer's Alminac or something might tell me the likelyhood it will rain on that day.

It is possible but not neccisarily accurate. Scientific and Weather data could be analized for the different seasons and a probability of rain on any given day could be calculated based solely on the percentage of rainy days on any season but I would be suspect of any such probability and would prefer to listen to the weather man who can analyize the weather patterns that are occuring presently.

The Farmers Almanac is as good as any other source for predicting the future weather. Farmers have used it for years for planting, harvesting and everything in between, up to and including cutting hair.
