Try putting the name of the rose in Google Image search. I looked and found a picture of honey dijon roses with pictures of a deep purple and red roses. It's best to try looking at pictures of roses together so you can see how well they go together.

Any color will go. Nature doesn't make clashing flower colors. The more opposite they are, the more each individual flower stands out.

I would use a cream or a pale pink and maybe add a darker pink as well
