I left Leeds in 1989, but there are a whole host of people going there to replace those who leave.

Everytime I talk about Leeds to people in London (where I now live) they all tell me how they went to Uni in Leeds & how cool it was, and how they want to move back there.

Also my extended family back there all say house prices are going through the roof, so there must be plenty of demand!

I left in 1984 too but have been back several times

My husband left many many years ago, and after moving around some we now live just down the M1 between Huddersfield and Barnsley...visit Leeds quite often.

i know harry kewell left for liverpool, rio went to utd and viduka to boro even danny mills left and robbie went to city but now he is home.
