I agree that the refs need to let them play. These new rules slow down the game so much. I'm a Rangers' fan but John Davidson needs to shutup with this, "It's hooking because his stick is parallel to the ice." This isn't math class and isn't the way the game has been played. The NHL needs to go back to the old rules because it makes the game more exciting. They made the rules to encourage hockey idiots to watch. If they didn't like hockey then, they're not going to like hockey now. It's so dumb that they make these rules for morons that have never followed the game before. Just let the boys play the game they love playing and don't call these b.s. penalties to make it exciting. I'll be disappointed if the game-winning goal is scored on a dumb penalty.

The ref's never decide the outcome of the game! I've always thought this was a stupid idea. Why don't people blame the butt head player who chose to break the rules in the first place to get the penalty called in the first place? I think the refereeing has been spot on all during the playoffs and hope it can continue next year.
