For example; he refuses to let our son participate in his Boy Scout
activities when he has him. He dumps our daughter at his mothers' house & leaves her there while he goes hunting or fishing. Lately he's been locking them outside so he can down a few beers without them seeing him. I've already tried to get things done legally but he did a snow-job on the advocate & she believed him.
I don't want to spend the next 11 years of my life fighting with him.
Any good, solid advice? Anybody else had this problem?

Depending on the age of your children you might be able to have them talk to a judge or advocate about how their visits go with their father. If he's locking them out of the house unsupervised, that's neglictful and dangerous.

If he's drinking so heavily that he doesn't want the children to see that's a whole other problem. Try to see if there is a pro bono type law center in your area if you live in a large city there should be. try to document as much as you can information wise. So it doesn't seem like your just being spiteful.

Good luck

As long as he is not hurting them .then it really isn't any of your business what your husband does with the children when he has his weekend.Just like he cant tell you what to do with them while at your home.

You need to chill out.
