There are already laws to protect our personal data, just lack enforcement, no need for new laws that won't be inforced either.
It is merley political posturing after the large amount of info that has been stolen, no new law would have stoped those from happening, since the cause was poor supervision of the rules already in force

This won't matter a bit if the IRS is still in business, snooping into all our personal financial matters. If eliminating the IRS isn't part of this bill, then the only thing this bill does is protect terrorist supporters.
I guess Hillary likes the IRS because she and Bill had the IRS target all their political opponents during their tawdry and unseemly administration.

Yes, lets create more legislation and extraneous government posts for her cronies. What the government needs to do is actually start watching our data better. Another "czar" isn't going to help the problem. In fact, more involvement will probably create more red-tape and a larger problem (when was the last time government involvement in anthing actually helped?).
And as for private companies, you should assume that they keep all information that you give them. If you do not want them keeping that information, take the proper steps to protect your information and don't hand it out.

Yeah, like I believe Hillary wants to protect my privacy...Hillary will say anything to get elected, and once in, will do whatever she damn well pleases. If you want to see the end of the United States, vote for Hillary and the democrats.

Absolutely not. Our privacy is already protected. CBS is as liberal as Hilary Clinton. If people were not so embarrased about their personal actions they would not be so concerned about law agencies looking for terrorist leads in every place they need to, even if that includes your phone records.
